It’s awesome what you can make out of the natural products that grow in the UK. Even living in London we have access to blackberries, fruit farms and windfall from the occasional apple or pear tree. At the right time of year, we happily pick up sloe berries and blackberries on our trips in and out of London. It seems strange that we would go to supermarket when we can utilise the accessible fruit in our country.
I haven’t made a wine that I’m ecstatic on yet, but I have made cider and sloe gin that I love! Here’s hoping I continue to improve with practice.
